AC Shadows Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season

In a surprising collaboration that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Revealed

According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden cult.

The mission concentrates on "strange trials and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview ends with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
